AnTuTu has recently made its small revolution in its 6.0 version that reviews a lot of things. Changes to more precise calculations that change the ranking of the most powerful mobile processors.
- Here is the ranking of the most popular smartphones according to Antutu!
AnTuTu 6.0 doesn’t just change the logo. The app now proposes to calculate 3D performance using the Unity 3D 5.0 standard, giving it as much space as the processor and RAM, but also the user experience with the interface. If Apple A9 and A8X chips still seem to reign supreme, there’s a big surprise in the leaderboard with a new processor.
Without making more suspense, it is the SoC Kirin 950 which places third in the overall ranking with a score of 92756, placing it well ahead of the second SoC Android in the ranking which is none other than the Samsung Exynos 7420 of the Galaxy S6. The Kirin 950 thus confirms its excellent scores seen on the future Huawei Mate 8.
Then came the Snapdragon 810, 808 and 805 with the Apple A8 coming in between. The first Atom Z3580 processor is only ninth. The Kirin 935 of the Honor 7 is in eleventh position, the good with Huawei’s new high-end SoC is impressive.
Now let’s wait and see what the other SoCs of 2016 have to offer, including the Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 that stand up to the Apple A9X of the iPad Pro. One thing is for sure, the competition is going fierce on the high-end smartphones of 2016, with high-flying performance among the various manufacturers.
