DJI, a well-known drone manufacturer, looks like it’s about to launch a new model: the DJI Mini SE. A small drone that should replace the already existing DJI Mavic Mini, and which could at the same time be the cheapest in the entire catalog.

The first image of a new drone that we hadn’t heard much about, but it looks like it’s about to be unveiled.
In it you can see some details that could prove to be in front of DJI’s cheapest drone.
The possible DJI Mini SE would be an upgrade to the DJI Mavic Mini. Its features are very similar except for some improvement.
To begin with we would have a 12MP sensor and the same 3-axis stabilizer that it has already used in its predecessors. With this camera the video recording would be limited to a maximum resolution of 2.7K, although for this type of drones it is more than enough. Well, anyone who wants image quality will have to focus on the most capable models such as the Inspire range or the recent DJI Air 2S and its camera with 1 inch sensor.
As for aspects of its flight capabilities, it has a battery of about 30 minutes of battery life and would include the new control also seen in the DJI Air 2S. And yes, I would also have all the flight modes and other little extras that make it easy to control and make you get very colorful images for all those users with less experience in drone flying.
When the DJI Mini SE will be presented
Assuming the news is real, the only thing left to know is when DJI would officially introduce this new drone. Therefore, we can’t say the exact date, but having appeared in Walmart listings it is assumed that they shouldn’t take much time.
So, now that the holiday season is coming, it could be the ideal complement for anyone who can travel again. Of course, always in compliance with the flight rules of each country.
