HiSense, 2022 of great satisfaction: first in the world in the TV sector in December

Hisense announces today that it has reached an important milestone in its growth path. During the last month of the year, the Chinese company shipped enough televisions around the world to establish itself as the world’s leading manufacturer.

This can be seen from AVC Revo’s 2022 Monthly Report of Global TV Shipment Volume of TV Brands: 2.33 million units shipped in December alone, none better than her. That’s not the only fact that leaders are celebrating in Tsingtao, China. Also according to AVC Revo surveys, during the past year HiSense has shipped enough televisions to grab the second place worldwide, with a market share of 12.06%.

Driving growth abroad were the European, Japanese and emerging markets. Overall, compared to the previous year, 12.2% more TVs were delivered outside China. HiSense has invested a lot in marketing, and evidently the fruits are coming. A boost could have come from the sponsorship of the World Cup, and then we cannot ignore the fact that that inflation that has weighed down and weighs down the most famous brands may have been an ally to HiSense.

The range is very aggressive on the value for money, and the moment of generalized price growth today may have affected consumers’ purchasing choices. The signs of a record 2022 had already arrived: from January to October it had shipped 19.6 million televisions, with a growth rate on the same period of the previous year of 18% and the second position globally.
