The company plans to release new Pixel gadgets on the 13th of August.
Google unveils its foldable smartphone: the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is the newest offering and pent up demand should help it see good sales.
Late last week, Google unveiled through a commercial video that it will be producing a foldable pixel, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Called a “foldable phone for the Gemini generation” this model has garnered a lot of interest due to the new generation of an AI chat assistant showcased in the video.
Attractive and innovative design
While the Pixel 9 Pro Fold was released as a foldable, it shares many squares with its non-foldable sibling Pixel 9 Pro, namely a large camera hump. These are positioned in a column, located at one side of the phone and this way the manufacturers are able to fit a lot into a small space due to a small area covered by the cameras.
Characteristics already revealed?
Before its beta release by Google, there have been many specifications of the device that was to be known as Pixel 9 Pro Fold exposed through a leak brought about by the Android Authority portal. The latter, which relies on data provided by Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC), suggests areas of the future smartphone.
New images of the Pixel 9 series have appeared in the archive of the National Communications Commission; in the framework of this series, Pixel has prepared the models Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Looking at some images of the unfolded 9 Pro Fold, it is seen that Google have shifted the selfie camera to the inner display and the thickness of the screen fold has been honed down to 250 mm, in other words nearly 10 inches.
Boosted loading speeds
One of the shocking things that are available on the NCC leak is that the new models come with bigger chargers. Charging time also appeared to be generally quicker, even though the Pixel 9 Pro Fold seems to be clouted to be at the bottom with a maximum of 135W. This information should be revealed in the next Google event, the Made by Google event, scheduled for 13th August this year. So let’s wait for new updates for the firm from Mountain View.
