Android 13 QPR3, here is Beta 3: what bugs have been fixed and news

Google has started distributing the third beta of Android 13 QPR3. Once again those who own a Pixel 4a (also 5G), Pixel 5 and 5a, Pixel 6, 6a and 6 Pro, Pixel 7 and 7 Pro can install it. Having installed Android 13 QPR3 Beta 2 or Beta 2.1 the update arrives automatically, and takes the place of a possible update waiting for the installation of the first beta of Android 14 (here the complete news). Those who have already installed Android 14 Beta 1 will not receive any notification.

On Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3 Google explains that it has fixed several bugs, the most relevant are:

what could cause trouble with Wi-Fi calling
The one that could cause a freeze with the home screen without app icons
the one that could crash the interface by trying to access Backgrounds and style, both from the settings and by long pressing on the home screen
the one that with the phone in a very hot environment could make the screen flash green when you tried to turn it on
the one for which recalling the camera by pressing the on and off button twice actually opened a black screen
the one that in some cases caused a restart of the smartphone when a work profile was activated or deactivated.
However, being still a beta that in rollout, although at a level of development now rather advanced, there may be other bugs, and some could also be quite annoying depending on the use you make of the smartphone.

Google reports the list of bugs fixed, but not the new features introduced with Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3. The colleagues of 9to5google.com immediately found one: the navigation keys in the interface – Home button in particular – a little larger, useful news for those who prefer the old methods to the “pill” of the latest generations of Android.

The stable version of Android 13 QPR3 is expected in June along with the next Feature Drop.
