Google is making Gmail summaries more useful and adding a Coming Soon tab

Google provides a fresh shot of energy to yet another of its products, – this time it is Gmail.
The prolific technology company, Google, has chosen to upgrade the products such as Gmail to fit its users’ behaviour. For instance, Gmail Summaries contextual AI snippets will be further and greatly enhanced in details concerning purchase, events, invoice and travel among others.

Near real-time maps for information
A new section titled ‘Happening Soon’ will be available at the top of your inbox in order to show you time-sensitive card. For instance, when you log into Gmail, you can receive a card telling you that an order you placed a week ago is to be delivered today. Google insists that all of its maps will be active and therefore in real time.

Simplified actions for users
Some of the new summary cards will also be marked with action buttons where necessary. Being committed to reciprocating the ease and convenience experienced by its users, Google assures that these action buttons will enable people to “no longer need to look for hidden links”.

For instance, purchase summary cards will enable tracking of packages, check order information and track orders on the internet. Much like with Facebook, event cards will show you your events in the future, a button to invite friends or to map the venue. Invoice summaries will let them be viewed or paid (or reminders to be set to pay them on Google Tasks). At last, trip summary cards will help you in managing your reservation and also check yourself for flights and many more in details like hotel check in and check out timings etc.

An evolutionary model of introducing some features
Only a bit more clarity can be offered with regard to the timing of the deployment of these new capabilities. Purchase summary cards for individual emails are officially beginning to be rolled out “gradually” today on both Android and iOS.
