GTA 5, source code spread on the net along with parts of GTA 6 code

On December 25, the entire source code of GTA 5, about 100 GB of data, was uploaded to the network along with excerpts of GTA 6 Python code, the files of the unfortunately deleted Bully 2, development materials from several Rockstar titles and several emails from the developers. All delivered to the people of the internet who immediately scrambled to plumb the package, thus discovering interesting information such as some additional single player content of GTA 5 unfortunately canceled and the possible presence of the ability to burglarize in GTA 6.

This is, in essence, yet another blow suffered by Rockstar who just a few days ago, during the hearing that saw the young hacker Arion Kurtaj sentenced to psychiatric hospitalization, declared that he had spent $5 million to remedy the damage caused by the 2022 leak of GTA 6. The title, however, does not seem to have suffered any particular repercussions given the success of the first trailer which has totaled more than 160 million views.

The list of packages that have been canceled by the developers, thought to be following the decision to focus efforts on the lucrative GTA Online, consists of eight entries, two of which are particularly interesting. In fact, there is talk of an expansion of the game’s prologue – which goes hand in hand with the presence of the North Yankton state map among the GTA 5 source code files – and a DLC entirely dedicated to Liberty City, the huge city of GTA 4.

Below is the list of DLCs found so far which also includes the Agent Trevor pack – from which comes the jetpack introduced in GTA Online with the Doomsday Heist missions – and the relationship and enterprise packs, most likely designed to expand the game mechanics with appointments and management dynamics.

-SP Assassination Pack
-SP Manhunt Package
-Norman SP Pack
-Agent Trevor
-Relations package
-Enterprise Package
-Prologue DLC
-DLC Liberty V

The data stolen from Rockstar, as anticipated, also includes small excerpts of GTA 6 code and files relating to titles already released or deleted by the software house. It starts with the mention of a GTA Tokyo for PS2 to get to materials from the making of Bully, Bully 2, Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2. In addition, images have emerged captured from an advanced version of The Agent, the stealth action game announced by Rockstar in 2009 and never came to light. You can find them above.
